Care · FLOOR GUIDE

When can I walk or park on my new floor?

Get separate written instructions for foot traffic, moving belongings and vehicle traffic. One generic cure-time claim does not establish when your particular floor is ready.

Ask for milestones, not one deadline

Your project plan should distinguish completion of application from return to each type of use. Confirm which products are installed and who will tell you when the space can reopen. Avoid scheduling deliveries against an unconfirmed estimate.

Follow the instructions you receive

Keep the final care sheet where everyone using the garage can find it. If weather, access or the installation plan changes, ask whether the return-to-use plan also changes. Contact the owners before placing a heavy item or vehicle on a floor whose status is uncertain.

Make the instructions easy to follow

Request clear guidance for walking, putting storage back, cleaning and parking. Share it with everyone who uses the property, including a caretaker or property manager. If your plans change, ask the owners before bringing a vehicle or heavy belongings onto the new finish.
