The answers that help you plan with confidence.
Do you install epoxy floors in Bluffton and Hilton Head?+
Coastal Carolina Epoxy Floors serves Beaufort and Jasper counties, including Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, Okatie, Hardeeville, and Ridgeland. Contact the owners to confirm your address and arrange an estimate.
How much does an epoxy garage floor cost?+
Your price depends on floor area, existing coatings, concrete repairs, preparation, and the selected finish. Request a written estimate after the owners evaluate your floor. We do not publish a one-size-fits-all price.
Is epoxy the same as polyaspartic?+
No. They are different coating materials and may be used in different layers of a floor system. Ask which products are proposed for your slab, why they fit your space, and what their care and return-to-service instructions require.
Can I coat a brand-new garage floor?+
Possibly, but the slab must meet the selected coating manufacturer’s requirements. Concrete age, moisture, surface condition, and preparation need to be evaluated before installation is scheduled.
How long until I can walk or park on my floor?+
Return-to-service timing depends on the installed products and conditions. Get separate written instructions for foot traffic, moving items back, and vehicle traffic. Do not assume every floor is ready the next day.
Will a coated floor be slippery?+
Traction depends on the finish, texture, footwear, moisture, and contaminants. Discuss texture options and cleaning with the owners. No floor finish should be described as slip-proof.
