How to choose a decorative flake color

Use online colors to make a shortlist, then compare a current physical sample in the lighting where the floor will be installed. A screen cannot confirm the finished blend.

Work from the colors already in the room

Consider the walls, cabinets, garage door and adjacent flooring. A warm neutral and a cool gray can feel very different beside the same paint. Start with a small group of favorites so your conversation stays focused.

Confirm more than the blend name

Discuss flake size, coverage, sheen and surface texture together. Save the agreed selection in the written estimate rather than relying on a screenshot. Our color gallery is inspiration; availability and the final system need owner confirmation.

Record the approved sample

Note the blend name, supplier reference if provided, flake size and finish details with your estimate. Compare the sample in the room at different times of day. Ask the owners how they will confirm the final selection so the installation does not depend on remembering a screenshot.
